I’m Roman Sanchez. I build AI that holds up in real use.
Sumo Labs is my independent AI consulting practice in Atlanta. I help businesses put agents and automation to work inside the systems they already have.

The engineer behind Sumo Labs.
I’m a software engineer with more than 14 years of experience across enterprise applications, data platforms, APIs, and cloud infrastructure. My work has spanned retail, finance, insurance, and airlines.
I also founded Tinylawn, an AI receptionist (a voice agent) for service businesses. Building it taught me the unglamorous parts of putting AI in front of customers: scheduling, business rules, and knowing when to hand a call to a person.
When you hire Sumo Labs, you work with me. I lead the technical work on every engagement, and we agree on responsibilities and delivery up front.
